Moving your $MOD tokens from the Ethereum Mainnet to Binance Smart Chain is simple and fast. If you have any issues or concerns please join the Modefi telegram group for assistance.
Step 1: Visit https://multichain.xyz
Step 2: Connect Metamask to Multichain.xyz
Click Connect Wallet on the top right corner
Select the check box next to the wallet containing your $MOD tokens. Click “Next”, then “Connect”.
Step 3: Select token to bridge
In this case we are bridging $MOD from Ethereum to the BSC Network. So we will click on the icon in the “From” box
In the search box type MOD and select “MOD on ETH Mainnet”
Step 4: Select token to bridge to
In this case we are bridging $MOD from Ethereum to the BSC Network. So we will click on the icon in the “To” box
In the search box type MOD and select “MOD on BSC Mainnet”
Step 5: Transfering $MOD token to the BSC Network
Enter the total amount of $MOD tokens you would like to send to the BSC Network.
*Note there are no fees to use the bridge during the ETH -> BSC bridging process aside from the usual ERC20 transfer fees. Min transfer of 12 $MOD.
You’re almost there!
Select the “Transfer” button and a Metamask window should appear. Leave the default Gas Price or check https://etherscan.io/gastracker for the most up to date gas prices.
Click “Confirm”. Once confirmed there will be a confirmation popup showing the status of your transfer.
Once complete you will see a link to both the Ethereum and BSC Network bridge TX’s. You can click on either to see the details. You can click the “Transfer transaction successful” link to see the transfer of $MOD tokens to your BSC wallet.
Step 6: Visit https://chainlist.org/ to add the Binance Smart Chain Network to Metamask
Connect your wallet to the Chainlist dapp (top right corner)
Once connected search “BSC” and select “Add to Metamask”
Your Metamask will prompt to “Allow this site to add a network?”. Select “Approve”, then “Switch Network”.
You are now successfully connected to the BSC Network and you should see “Binance Smart Chain Mainnet” in your networks dropdown within Metamask.
In order to pay for transaction on the BSC network you will require BNB BEP-20. This can be obtained via Binance and sent to your wallet using the withdraw (BEP-20) method.
